BriEf & Objectives
Abacus Motorhomes, a long-standing client of Multi-Signs, tasked us with branding their new Motorhome showroom in Andover. They wanted signage that would be eye-catching from the roadside whilst subtly integrating the logos of their partnered brands alongside their own.
We began by understanding their vision and reviewing brand guidelines for both Abacus and their partners. A site visit helped us analyse the surroundings and key visibility points. Our design concepts balanced vibrant, attention-grabbing elements with subtle features to create harmonious signage. We chose a colour palette and typography that ensured readability from a distance and aligned with the brand identities.
Collaboration was essential. We presented initial designs, incorporated feedback from the Client and ensured all stakeholders were satisfied. Durable materials were selected for the outdoor signage and we partnered with trusted suppliers for high-quality materials. The installation was planned for optimal visibility and minimal disruption.
The result was striking, yet elegant signage that enhanced the showrooms visibility and seamlessly integrated the partnered brands logos with Abacus’s branding.
Site survey & Planning
As with any project of this size, meticulous planning was crucial. We dispatched two of our experienced installers to evaluate the site, focusing on access, fitting surface, size, and positioning. This thorough assessment ensured we could develop the most accurate and effective design to meet the Clients requirements.
Back at the workshop, we began crafting bespoke proofs and superimposing Abacus’s branding onto images of their building. Throughout this process we maintained consistent communication with the Client to ensure the final design perfectly matched their vision for their brand.
Fabrication & Installation
With our full in-house fabrication capabilities, our skilled team expertly crafted 3-D built-up coloured acrylic letters for the main building’s signage. To create a striking and durable monolith face, we utilized a premium 3mm aluminium composite panel, chosen for its high quality and strength. This panel was securely affixed to a robust aluminium box channel frame, designed for long-lasting performance. To ensure the structure remains stable and safe in all conditions, the frame was firmly concreted into the ground. Every aspect of the fabrication and installation was meticulously executed to meet both aesthetic and safety standards, showcasing our commitment to delivering top-quality signage solutions.
