We are a well established signage & graphics company based in Ringwood, Hampshire. Established in 1974, we offer a professional and personable service, taking care of your business and visual identity. We provide all manners of signage from building & vehicle branding, way-finding & functional signage, industrial & office internals to bespoke items for members of the public.
Keeping design & manufacturing in-house, we aim to be the one-stop-shop that our clients trust to take their projects (with positive energy) from start to finish, or as we like to say ‘Vision to Masterpiece’, no matter the scale.

OUR STORY
We started back in 1958 with a simple idea and a passion for customer service. Over the years, we’ve evolved into a fully-fledged platform, continually striving to deliver quality signage and branding for our customers.
As we forge ahead, one thing is certain: our company’s history is a testament to the power of our products and services to shape meaningful connections and create a lasting impact on those who experience it.
1958
Tony worked for himself, after-hours, in a farmers field in Hordle, utilising an old railway carriage as a workshop.
Signage was either hand painted, hand machined using fret saws/band saws or engraved on a pantogragh engraving machine.
1974
In 1974 after returning from 4 years in Australia, Tony and Pauline began a small company in a one room workshop above a fencing yard in Ringwood.
The Multi-Signs universe began…… Engraving would be the main focus of the company for many years.

1977
Tonys eldest son Kevin joined the company in 1977 learning Perspex fabrication and taking the skill to new levels of complexity.
Kevin formed his own company, MPF in 1995 Youngest son Leslie, began working in Multi-signs in 1983 making Photo-etched aluminium labels, screen printed fence panel labels (over a million!) for a local fencing manufacturer.

1986
Computer aided sign-making was added in 1986, 1 PC and a 610mm wide plotter,
hand digitised artwork and 32 fonts to choose from!
1988
New premises at 19, Hightown Industrial Estate, Ringwood in 1988, our own space!
1992 - 1993
Following a contract for Channel Express airfreight, a 1220mm wide plotter was purchased in 1992, to enable production of fuselage decals for Herald and F27 aircraft. CNC engraving and routing was added in 1993.
1994 - 1997
Multi-Signs first vinyl wrap was 1994, 2 simulators for a Baileys promotion, followed by Mountain Dew, Pepsi /Walkers and Coors light in 1997.
2001
2001 saw the amazing leap forward in technology, to digital print, directly to self adhesive vinyl. Our first printer was a Roland ‘Resolve’ 1320mm wide, a real game change in sign making productivity.
2013
Acquisition of another local sign company in 2013 boosted employee numbers to 6, and added a large flat bed router to our production facility.
2018
Leslie’s Daughter, Tyler, joined the Multi-signs in 2018 after gaining 5 years experience in the industry, working for several national sign and print companies. She became Company director in 2023.
2021
May 2021 We added Graphic Design Services to our extensive resume and the wonderful Matt Kelsey added his vast design experience to our Team.
June 2021 Our new industrial unit was purchased, we added a mezzanine floor creating a great production space for further expansion and additional staff numbers.

2024
April 2024 our 50th year, Multi-signs continues to supply local and national companies with great service, products and reliability.
